:: :: turner sports interactive :: pgatour.com In partnership with PGA TOUR and the PGA of America -- and alongside a group of seasoned artists, multimedia producers and software developers -- I help lead Turner Sports' Interacitve production of the PGATOUR.com and PGA.com. I hold the title of senior project manager.
:: :: beginnings I began my interactive career in Augusta, Georgia. My main responsibility was helping launch, then expand, The Augusta Chronicle's newspaper Website. Along the way, I also helped create Websites devoted to the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games and the Masters golf tournament. In 2000, I moved to CNN/SI (now SI.com) in Atlanta. Highlights of my work include creating and maintaining Olympics coverage every two years, along with overseeing the yearly Web edition of Sports Illustrated's annual Swimsuit Issue.
:: :: current work In 2007, I became a part of the leadership team that launched a redesign of PGATOUR.com. In 2008, I concentrated mostly on launching a new generation of live golf shot tracking. Shot Tracker is now launched, stable and in the feature enhancement stage, so I'm also currently managing the sales support operations for PGA.com and PGATOUR.com. I oversee the creation of custom content, custom sponsorships, advertising sweepstakes, and micro-sites as needed to provide audience-specific, unique advertising packages to our sponsors.
